Package: apt-cacher-ng Version: 0.4.1-1 Severity: normal Hi, since upgrading apt-cacher-ng to 0.4.1-1 I noticed that it emptied /etc/apt-cacher-ng/backends_debian (although I selected "set up once" when first installed acng so I'm not sure what "once" refers to) rendering acng non-functional.
I think this is because now I have an explicit reference to localhost:3142 in sources.list instead of using acng as a proxy, e.g.: deb http://localhost:3142/debian/ sid main contrib non-free deb-src http://localhost:3142/debian/ sid main contrib non-free also IMO acng should put an explicit note on backends_* to indicate whenever they have been autogenerated and can be overwritten whenever the package is upgraded. thanks, filippo -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.31-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages apt-cacher-ng depends on: ii adduser 3.111 add and remove users and groups ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.28 Debian configuration management sy ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.5-3 high-quality block-sorting file co ii libc6 2.10.2-2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libfuse2 2.8.1-1 Filesystem in USErspace library ii libgcc1 1:4.4.2-3 GCC support library ii libstdc++6 4.4.2-3 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-15 compression library - runtime Versions of packages apt-cacher-ng recommends: ii ed 1.4-1 The classic UNIX line editor ii perl 5.10.1-8 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction apt-cacher-ng suggests no packages. -- debconf information: apt-cacher-ng/gentargetmode: Set up once apt-cacher-ng/modifytargets: false -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
