Package: menu
Version: 2.1.42
Severity: normal

Hi,

I'm here by proposing to add a new category to the menu called
Applications/Multimedia or FreeDesktop.org conform Applications/AudioVideo as
some of the shipped applications with debian o not only comply to the current
category they are in.
For examble, vlc is in the category Applications/Viewers and bangarang is in
the category Applications/Sounds although both are able to play videos as well
as music and show pictures. For this reason it is only understandable to add
the new category called either Applications/Multimedia or
Applications/AudioVideo .

Sincerely,

Andreas Marschke.
