a good question: because I should sleep more or use every feature of every package I maintain ;-) In fact, as I don't use these, I've just digged a bit more and ... well we don't need to have the nut user. We just need to have the sysconfdir crossable for "others" and the file(s) hosts.conf and optionaly upsset.conf readable by "others" (no security hole as these files doesn't hold sensitive data...). I'll put this with the update of 2.0.3, or before if it takes too long. Thanks for pointing it out.
