I started noticing this a few days ago, so I guess it's a bug in the new version of amarok. I understand there were other issues with durations so I rescanned the tracks as suggested, but that had no effect. Amarok itself displays the expected duration on examining the track or playing it, but when the track's transferred to my MTP device the MTP device says it's hundreds of hours in length (a quick calculation suggests the duration's 1000 times too long). (I guess there's some missing translation between duration of ms and seconds, or some such issue.
