Package: lives
Version: 1.1.6-1
Severity: wishlist

Hello, and thanks for packaging lives.

I've tried to encode to theora but didn't find the way.
One of the encoder plugins, multi_encode dpeends on several
python programs that don't seem packaged. I wonder whether
there is any legal problem or other reason. But I could find
no hint on why these encoders are missing.

Everything worked once I downloaded them from
http://lives.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/lives/branches/1.0.0/lives-plugins/marcos-encoders/
and copied them to /usr/local/bin

according to packages.debian.org they don't seem to be in any debian package.

I think it would be good to include them in the packages or
if this can't be done then document briefly why.

Thanks.
