Package: dosfstools Version: 3.0.7-1 Severity: important
I have a removable USB drive which is usually absent from this machine. It has an /etc/fstab entry: UUID=4823-93A9 /mnt/usb8gig vfat defaults,users,uid=65534,gid=65534,umask=000,shortname=win95 0 2 This has worked until installing dosfstools 3.0.7, when I received the error: dosfsck 3.0.7, 24 Dec 2009, FAT32, LFN open: No such file or directory and fsck fails, leaving the machine stuck until I logged in manually and commented out the fstab entry. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages dosfstools depends on: ii libc6 2.10.2-2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries dosfstools recommends no packages. dosfstools suggests no packages. -- debconf-show failed -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
