Humm, this bug causes FTBFS errors on ia64 for four out of four C++ apps that I've got my hands on (technically it's anything that #includes <signal>). I didn't research in detail, and the overall statistics might be better, but this bug has the potential to stall a considerable fraction of the ongoing C++ transition and tie it to the upcoming glibc update, as far as migration to testing is concerned. It's not the end of the world, for sure, but in the end we might have an easier ride with another 2.3.2.ds1 upload with minimal changes.
