Package: postgresql
Version: 8.3.9
Severity: critical
I upgraded servers postgresql-8.3.8 to postgresql-8.3.9, I've the
following problems on 2 servers since the upgrade :
# tail -f /var/log/postgresql/postgresql-8.3-main.log
2010-01-08 09:23:33 UTC ERREUR: en-tête de page invalide dans le
bloc 1 de la relation « expproduitrecolte »
2010-01-08 09:23:33 UTC INSTRUCTION : select count(*) from expproduitrecolte;
2010-01-08 09:25:48 UTC ERREUR: en-tête de page invalide dans le
bloc 1 de la relation « expproduitrecolte »
The hardware is ok, dmesg and syslog returns no fails if the system
and the application cannot corrupt the data.
I've no idea why and how data could be corrupted.
The database server is on a vserver with this information :
