You are right about the full sentences and there is one to put in the
description:

 Django-shorturls is a custom URL shortening application for Django,
including
 easy rev=canonical support.

This description explains this module complete. There is no need for
anything more.

As for the rev=canonical, some links[1][2] can be helpful. The explanation
about that is not for the description.
