Hi Miguel, setting net.ipv6.bindv6only=0 works perfectly. Thank you for that quick response. I didn't try to build that package again. Actually I was referring to a build from the original source anyways. Regards, Fabian Becker -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Miguel Landaeta [mailto:[email protected]] Gesendet: Freitag, 15. Maybe the problem is the recent change of net.ipv6.bindv6only=1 setting on netbase package for squeeze and sid. Could you try setting this to 0 and see if jabberd works? /sbin/sysctl -w net.ipv6.bindv6only=0 should work for you. Anyway, I'm going to address this with a new release soon. > > I’m also not able to build the package myself as make produced the following > output: > I could build jabberd14-1.6.1.1-4 today on a machine running sid. How are you building this? >From the error message, it seems you are missing fix_gnutls_api_changes patch. Try rebuilding with the following commands: apt-get source jabberd14 cd jabberd14-1.6.1.1 dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc Regards, -- Miguel Landaeta, miguel at miguel.cc secure email with PGP 0x7D8967E9 available at http://keyserver.pgp.com/ "Faith means not wanting to know what is true." -- Nietzsche -- Miguel Landaeta, miguel at miguel.cc secure email with PGP 0x7D8967E9 available at http://keyserver.pgp.com/ "Faith means not wanting to know what is true." -- Nietzsche -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
