Package: virtualbox-ose
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

I was evaluating the packaging of vdfuse [0] that allows to mount any
disk image supported by VirtualBox as a FUSE (filesystem in userspace).
However, it relies on having VBoxHDD.h (and some dependent headers from
the virtualbox-ose source package) being available. AFAIK, at present
none of the virtualbox*-source packages provides it.

Please, include these headers in any of the *-source packages, or add
another one. Alternatively, since vdfuse is just a simple single source
file tool, it might be a leaner solution to include it into the
virtualbox-ose source package and build it there (it looks like it would
only need libfuse-dev as additional build-dep.)

Thanks for your consideration,

Michael
