I just saw that you also upgraded policy to 3.8.3 (please include
those notes in the changelog, thanks).

More precisely 12.1

This was meant seriously. Many one-shot translation go out of date
when the original changes leaving users in the dark. This can be
easily avoided by using po4a. My original patch would have used it
except I don't your build system (cdbs) and you are missing a proper
debian/README.source (will report this separately).
