Source: apq-postgresql
Version: 3.0-2
Severity: serious
Justification: FTBFS

Hi,

your package FTBFS on several archs (as of now: at least ia64, hppa,
and kfreebsd-i386):
| building dynamic library for project apq.postgresql
| /usr/bin/gcc-4.4 -shared -o
/build/buildd-apq-postgresql_3.0-2-hppa-rLGuMY/apq-postgresql-3.0/lib/libapq-postgresql.so.3.0
 -L/usr/lib/gcc/hppa-linux-gnu/4.4.3/adalib/ -Wl,--export-dynamic -lpq
-lapq-postgresqlhelp -L/usr/lib -lapq
-L/usr/lib/gcc/hppa-linux-gnu/4.4.3/adalib/ -lgnat-4.4
-Wl,-soname,libapq-postgresql.so.3.0
/build/buildd-apq-postgresql_3.0-2-hppa-rLGuMY/apq-postgresql-3.0/obj/apq-postgresql.o
 ...
| /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lapq-postgresqlhelp
| collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
| gnatmake: gcc-4.4 execution error
| make[1]: *** [libs] Error 4

Full build logs:
  https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?suite=unstable&p=apq-postgresql

It looks like it doesn't find the just-built shared object? I
reproduced this on my kfreebsd-i386 porterbox, the build directory
contains:
| k...@kbsd:~/hack/porting-5/apq-postgresql-3.0$ find -name
'*apq-postgresqlhelp*'
| ./lib/libapq-postgresqlhelp.a
| ./lib/libapq-postgresqlhelp.so.3.0
| ./lib/libapq-postgresqlhelp.so

Mraw,
KiBi.
