Afaik there should be no upper limit within the stop action of the init script - it should wait forever on corosync to exit.
When using Corosync with pacemaker, the shutdown time depends on how many resources are configured, and the time required to stop them. I suggest changing the start-stop-daemon call into: start-stop-daemon --stop --retry forever/QUIT/1 --pidfile $PIDFILE -- Pascal Hofmann -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
