Yes, I want.The CD mirror is synced automatically. It is already in sync with "ftp.br.debian.org/debian-cd", despite the local trace file is missing. I just edited my custom script in order to fix that.
Must CD mirror use pushing also? If so, I must configure it.
- You mentionned both 3Gbps connectivity and congestion issues, so it's not clear to me what is your banwdith.
My internet link has a bandwidth of 34Mbps(*), but it's shared with others servers and more than 500 workstations. Some times, between 11h UTC and 21h UTC, the link may get congested.
During a congestion, I guarantee a bandwidth of 5Mbit to the mirror server. But when bandwidth is available, the mirror server gets its bandwidth increased up to 15Mbit.
(*) The upgrade from 4Mbit to 34Mbit was made in January, 2010.
