Package: bugs.debian.org
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

I just though it might be a good idea to send mail to affected
maintainer when someone adds an “affect” tag to a bug.

For example, if a bug affects one of my packages, I might get bug
reports on them because an user won't know and won't have check the bug
page (it still happens).

If I was warned before that a bug in another package affects mines, I
could properly reassign/merge instead of wondering what exactly is
happening.

What do you think?

Cheers,
