Mike> Try installing firebug, tamperdata or livehttpheaders. Any of Mike> these will help you with what the browser sends and receives on Mike> the wire and when.
Looking with live*, which I already had installed, it seems that when this happens, the browser never even requests those particular images, and instead requests the gray placeholder image (tray_shadow.gif). However, there's a bit of an Heisenberg effect: with the live* window open, browser immediately says Done as soon as it composes the (flawed) page; there's never any "Transferring data from" message. BTW, once I had an even weirder effect: the not only were some of the images missing, but _in their places_ there were duplicated some of the other images. -- Ian Zimmerman <i...@buug.org> gpg public key: 1024D/C6FF61AD fingerprint: 66DC D68F 5C1B 4D71 2EE5 BD03 8A00 786C C6FF 61AD Ham is for reading, not for eating. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
