gdbserver was split out, but has it's own copy of the doc directory.
Now having both packages installed uses more space than the former
gdb package alone. Please consider symlinking the doc directory for
gdbserver, gdb64 and libgdb-dev.
gdbserver does not depend on gdb. gdb really shouldn't depend on
gdbserver either; it only does for transition. gdbserver also has
fewer docs installed.
The changelog.gz installed in both packages is useless. It's the
top-level changelog. How about I drop that, and if re-adding some
changelog leave it out of the gdbserver package?
sounds ok.
The README in
gdbserver is also useless, I do not know how it got there.
afaics cdbs copies these by default.
