hi, i think i just faced this bug or a similar one on a dell inspiron 510m after a fresh sarge install. totem video thread was working fine, but no sound and a crash dialog was opening after 2 seconds or so. the problem was that both i810_audio and snd-intel8x0 were being loaded. adding snd-intel8x0 in /etc/modules and rebooting fixed it.
