debian bug #558706 was originally filed due to an open bug in ubuntu: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/470639
That bug has now been closed in launchpad as "invalid", and i believe
the same diagnosis holds for debian #558706, so i'm hereby closing the
debian bug.
