Ah, looks like with your model you're stuck to an old version of iScan
(2.10.0 when 2.24.0 is current...) and there were no Debian packages
made for these old versions.
You'll have to build the backend from their source tarball.

Is there perhaps a guide somewhere for making quick .debs from source,
when the package is only to be used locally?
