Package: smplayer Version: 0.6.8-2 Severity: normal when pressing arrow key to ff (fast forward) or rewind for a - let say - 10 sec, smplayer does ff or rewind still after key is released. so you really skip part of movie you want to stop on.
smplayer probably operates on keypress events which are queued by the system because events become faster than smplayer does ff or rewind. it should start ff or rewind on key-down and stop right after key-up event received. cheers, mark -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages smplayer depends on: ii libc6 2.10.2-2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.4.2-9 GCC support library ii libqt4-network 4:4.5.3-4 Qt 4 network module ii libqt4-xml 4:4.5.3-4 Qt 4 XML module ii libqtcore4 4:4.5.3-4 Qt 4 core module ii libqtgui4 4:4.5.3-4 Qt 4 GUI module ii libstdc++6 4.4.2-9 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii mplayer 1:1.0.rc2svn20091220-0.0 The Ultimate Movie Player For Linu ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.4.dfsg-3 compression library - runtime Versions of packages smplayer recommends: ii smplayer-themes 0.1.20+dfsg-1 complete front-end for MPlayer - i ii smplayer-translations 0.6.8-2 complete front-end for MPlayer - t smplayer suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
