Package: smplayer
Version: 0.6.8-2
Severity: normal

when pressing arrow key to ff (fast forward) or rewind for a - let say - 10
sec, smplayer does ff or rewind still after key is released. so you really skip
part of movie you want to stop on.

smplayer probably operates on keypress events which are queued by the system
because events become faster than smplayer does ff or rewind.
it should start ff or rewind on key-down and stop right after key-up event
received.

cheers,
mark
