So the "original" version from ftp://ftp.ics.ele.tue.nl works and the "new and improved" version from http://webcvs.kde.org/printing.kde.org/downloads/Attic/ doesn't. I may have to resort to the old one! I have very little interest in the program anymore since I no longer use it, so I'm not inclined to spend lots of time debugging this.
