Using scala to run a scala script results in the following error (after a number of seconds): Unable to establish connection to compilation daemon Afterwards 24 java processes have spanned. Every time I try to run the script again another 24 processes spawn and the error message is the same. I tried this is several systems, with and without IPv6 connectivity. All give the same error. All systems have firewalls however traffic on localhost is unrestricted. Running scala in interactive mode does work.
