Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: normal Ion has suffered from a hostile upstream (Tuomo Valkonen) with bizarre licencing for a while. He has now abandoned it. There is talk of a fork/continuation but so far as I can see Tuomo successfully drove away most other potential contributors. Only users seem to be left and they are *voting* for project managers. I see no sign of any actual development. I'm not going to waste any more time on this; let's remove it.
