Hi,
the current version fails to build on GNU/kFreeBSD.
It needs added test in configure.ac.
Surprisingly, result of this test is already checked
in replace/getpeereid.c ...
Please apply attached patch and perform
autoheader
autoconf
It would also be nice if you can ask upstream
to include this changes.
