Sorry for having sounded a bit harsh. From my perspective, there
was a bug which is five weeks old, but didn't have a single comment on
it besides the original report (e. g. forwarded upstream or whatever).
This gave me the impression that nothing would happen about it.

And it had only the severity "normal", although being a crash. If
it had the severity "grave", apt-listbugs would have told me about it
*before* upgrading, and I could have chosen not no upgrade. I really
still would like to set the severity to grave, so that at least others
have that opportunity to choose. But the mentioned workaround to run
the JPilot GUI instead of jpilot-sync keeped me from doing that.

Well, I think I have to go and find the previous version and
downgrade again, or live with the fact that I can't sync any more
without turning on the monitor and hitting the mouse/keyboard (via
autopilot). :-(

Thanks,

    - Stephan.
