Yes, we've already planned to do this.  We were waiting for glibc 2.3.5
and gcc 4.0 to enter unstable, first.

If you have one handy, I won't complain...

I will need to do some work on a transitional amd64-libs-dev package to
remove diversions, et cetera.  I need to think about how to do that.
