Hi, Wil test this the net time I'm at the site. Assumed the stick needed to be etx2 in stead of FAT as that is the native Linux file system and that would probably be the only filesyste supported that early in the installation. Seems I was wrong.
You might also want to close bug #520767 as it seems to be the same bug.
