I tested with:

$ time dico --host=localhost --noauth -d gcide -s all "sproutchploufpiou" 

Result before applying the patch:
real    14m31.965s
user    0m1.912s
sys     0m6.128s


Result after applying the patch:
real    0m3.486s
user    0m1.340s
sys     0m1.968s
