Creating an snapshot followed by a mount sometimes fail with "mount: you must
specify the filesystem type"

Script:
#!/bin/bash

lvcreate -s -L  5G -n data-snapshot /dev/lv1/data
mount /dev/lv1/data-snapshot /tmp/mnt

../testscript.sh
Logical volume "data-snapshot" created
mount: you must specify the filesystem type

The problem appears randomly. ~1/4 of the mounts will fail.
It seems lvcreate is not finished completely. If an "sleep 1" is added to the
script everything works fine.
