Package: akonadi-server Version: 1.3.1-3+b1 Since the last upgrade of my testing (squeeze), I've the same problem described in this bug report : kamil crash after startup.
I've solved this problem by starting a kde session and run the akonadi server configuration (K menu) and check the option "use internal MySQl server" and it's works again. I add that with KDE 4.3 and previous version of akonadi, it works perfectly. --- System information. --- Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-3-amd64 Debian Release: squeeze/sid 99 unstable ftp.fr.debian.org 190 testing security.debian.org 190 testing ftp.fr.debian.org 190 testing ftp.debian-multimedia.org 1 experimental ftp.debian.org --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed =================================================-+-=============== libakonadiprivate1 (= 1.3.1-3+b1) | 1.3.1-3+b1 libboost-program-options1.42.0 (>= 1.42.0-1) | 1.42.0-3 libc6 (>= 2.3.6-6~) | 2.10.2-9 libgcc1 (>= 1:4.1.1) | 1:4.4.4-1 libqt4-dbus (>= 4:4.5.3) | 4:4.6.2-4 libqtcore4 (>= 4:4.6.1) | 4:4.6.2-4 libstdc++6 (>= 4.4.0) | 4.4.4-1 mysql-server-core | libqt4-sql-mysql | 4:4.6.2-4 Package's Recommends field is empty.
