Package: dash Version: 0.5.5.1-7~exp0 Severity: critical Justification: breaks unrelated software
Suddently xbmc compilation started to fail in the configure phase. I add a lot of ./configure: 1: "INCLUDES+= " : "not found" and configure phase indefinitely looped. You can reproduce the bug by extracting xbmc git and try to configure it reading README.linux. As I was aware nothing chnaged in my source tree, I suspected firts the usual suspects (autoconf/automake) but reverting to more ancient version failed also. Then I suddently discovered /bin/sh was pointing to dash. Chngaing the link again to bash solved al my compilation problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.34 (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages dash depends on: ii debianutils 3.2.3 Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii dpkg 1.15.7.2 Debian package management system ii libc6 2.11.1-1 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib dash recommends no packages. dash suggests no packages. -- debconf information: * dash/sh: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
