Package: wl-beta Version: 2.15.9+0.20100525-1 Severity: important
The change to use gnu-tls instead of openssl for imaps connexions causes the connection to my imap server to fail. However the message that is given is totally unhelpful in trying to work out what the problem is. In the minibuf I see, briefly, Auto plugged off at chubb.wattle.id.au:993 :elmo-network-initialize-session byte-code: Cannot open: elmo-network-initialize-session This is useless for debugging the problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.35-rc1-00194-gaef4b9a-dirty (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages wl-beta depends on: ii apel 10.7+0.20080906-2 portable library for emacsen ii dpkg 1.15.7.2 Debian package management system ii emacs [emacsen] 23.2+1-2 The GNU Emacs editor (metapackage) ii emacs23 [emacsen] 23.2+1-2 The GNU Emacs editor (with GTK+ us ii flim 1:1.14.9+0.20100313-2 library about internet message for ii install-info 4.13a.dfsg.1-5 Manage installed documentation in ii semi 1.14.6+0.20100219-1 library to provide MIME feature fo wl-beta recommends no packages.
