Hello, Although this bug has been posting for a long time. I have the same problem with CVS Checkout and Eclipse Update.
But it's a Debian/Kernel problem, because some applications use RFC3493 Basic Socket Interface Extensions for IPv6 [1]. And the kernel default value net.ipv6.bindv6only=1 breaks RFC3493.
