Package: initscripts Version: 2.88dsf-7 Severity: normal Hi,
hopefully #494001 will be fixed some time in the near future and we can get rid of the horribly hack that is mtab.sh. Until that happens, it should at least correctly handle the new devtmpfs type, that is used by default in squeeze for /dev. See: # mount | grep "/dev " udev on /dev type tmpfs (rw,mode=0755) vs # grep "/dev " /proc/mounts none /dev devtmpfs rw,relatime,size=382492k,nr_inodes=95623,mode=755 The "tmpfs" type for /dev in mtab is not correct, whereas /proc/mounts shows the correct info.
