Package: sim Version: 0.9.5~svn20080806-1 Severity: normal sim plays some music on start. This is very annoying, besides: 1. This functionality is not related to its main function as IM client 2. User does not expect any music when just launching an IM client 3. The music cannot be easily turned off
In my opinion this "feature" definitely should be disabled. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-3-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages sim depends on: ii kdelibs4c2a 4:3.5.10.dfsg.1-3 core libraries and binaries for al ii libc6 2.10.2-9 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libgcc1 1:4.4.4-1 GCC support library ii libice6 2:1.0.6-1 X11 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libqt3-mt 3:3.3.8b-6 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libsm6 2:1.1.1-1 X11 Session Management library ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8n-1 SSL shared libraries ii libstdc++6 4.4.4-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.3.3-3 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 2:1.1.1-3 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxml2 2.7.7.dfsg-2 GNOME XML library ii libxslt1.1 1.1.26-3 XSLT processing library - runtime ii libxss1 1:1.2.0-2 X11 Screen Saver extension library ii sim-data 0.9.5~svn20080806-1 Sim-IM Instant Messenger data file ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.4.dfsg-3 compression library - runtime sim recommends no packages.
