Hi, I have been bitten by this bug, too, while upgrading from lenny to squeeze. As udev now throws warnings on deprecated SYSFS usage, this led to a zillion warnings after rebooting. Manually deleting the file in /etc helped (and is possibly the cause for the below error under "Configuration files"). Happened also with the 2.6.30-kernel; besides this according to dpkg.log that was a normal upgrade:
