As I mentioned upstream, it seems some unrelated package upgrade made this bug go away. I can't reproduce it at the moment, and it was 100% reproducible before. I'm using the same locally compiled version of Wine, same libjack version, etc. It's a mystery, but I'm closing the bug report in the mean time.
