Hello, I've just read through this report again and have realised that it isn't as clear as it could be, so thought I'd post a quick clarification.
The package specific information at the bottom of the report shows the contents of /proc/asound/cards after I've commented out the line in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf to set index=-2 for snd-usb-audio. With it in place, the USB-Audio device is assigned card 1. The fix is pretty trivial, but since the argument for bug #574593 is that most people wouldn't want to look for this, I feel that the same argument applies here as well. Please do let me know if you would like any further information and I'll get it added as soon as possible. All the best, -Dave. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
