If you disable the display of the CPU speed caption this no longer happens:
xosview -xrm "xosview*loadCpuSpeed:false" -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
