Hi,
I'm sorry, documenting package dependencies in the README
is not how such dependencies are tracked in Debian. If this module
does not work with postresql 7.X, and actually breaks working
installations where applications using libdbd-pg-Perl+postgres 7.X
are silently nroken, then something better needs to be done to
reflect this change in behaviour. Breaking applications deserve more
than an obscure reference in /usr/share/doc/$pkg/README.gz.
