Yes it starts fine now at boot, no errors messages. I'm not sure when this started happening, I just noticed the volumes keys stopped controlling alsamixer around the same time as acpi-fakekey was failing at boot. And thought there might be some correlation. If you have any clues as to why that is happening, I'm open to suggestions to try to figure it out. Thanks, Mike
