Package: xfractint Version: 20.4.00-1 Severity: wishlist Hi,
The version of xfractint on Debian is about 6 years old now. There have been several new versions since, most recently version 20.04p09. More options ! More speed ! More fractals ! ;-) I don't know what exactly the problem was which prevented an amd64 version of 20.4.00 from being uploaded to Debian Woody back in 2004, but I can confirm the latest version 20.04p09 builds and runs nice and fast and stable on amd64 for Squeeze. If the maintainer is still active, please could this package be updated and released for amd64 ? -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.5 APT prefers stable APT policy: (800, 'stable'), (150, 'testing'), (3, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages xfractint depends on: ii libc6 2.7-18lenny4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libncurses5 5.7+20081213-1 shared libraries for terminal hand ii libx11-6 2:1.1.5-2 X11 client-side library xfractint recommends no packages. xfractint suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- Serendipity: http://www.leverton.org/blosxom (last update 29th March 2010) "The Internet, a sort of ersatz counterfeit of real life" -- Janet Street-Porter, BBC2, 19th March 1996 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
