In Version 0.6.1.5-3 (which was the latest I ran from unstable before 0.6.3-2),
all of the progress aptitude did was shown. Now, this output is shown for little
time and disappears. I will provide the output in a response to this report
soon.
This seems to be the improvement wished in #569516, which now is the default
state.
