Package: bash
Version: 4.1-3
Severity: normal
I'm not sure when this started occuring. \W which should report the
basename "boot" in /boot reports "bott":
$ export PS1="\W \w "
~ ~ cd /boot
bott /boot
I can't reproduce it on my Ubuntu machine which has "GNU bash, version
4.1.5(1)-release (i486-pc-linux-gnu)". "basename /boot" in a shell
also reports "boot", not "bott".
