First of all, thanks for taking care of cleaning up. Of course I can
keep working on it, but when security support for lenny is over, I
will have to switch.

Well, I would have expected that at least for infrastructure tools
some upgrade path is provided. I know how to search for packages, but
of course I don't know how good the alternatives are. I am a (fairly)
happy user of apt-proxy (several architectures, currently 25 GB in the
proxy) and I would like to avoid the work of converting everything
over (several machines, I know other installations with dozenz of
machines) just to find out that the chosen alternative is going away
during the sequeez+1 cycle.

Well, I accept that but the one removing apt-proxy might have
considered this. I guess the maintainer is MIA?
