Hmh, it seems that it might not be working because udev doesn't export
it as a gphoto device:

cor...@hidalgo: sudo udevadm info --query=all
--path=/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.7/usb2/2-2/2-2:1.0
P: /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.7/usb2/2-2/2-2:1.0
E: UDEV_LOG=3
E: DEVPATH=/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.7/usb2/2-2/2-2:1.0
E: SUBSYSTEM=usb
E: ID_VENDOR_FROM_DATABASE=Canon, Inc.
E: ID_MODEL_FROM_DATABASE=EOS 350D (ptp)
E: DEVTYPE=usb_interface
E: DEVICE=/proc/bus/usb/002/012
E: PRODUCT=4a9/30ef/2
E: TYPE=0/0/0
E: INTERFACE=6/1/1
E: MODALIAS=usb:v04A9p30EFd0002dc00dsc00dp00ic06isc01ip01

I think I should have something with ID_GPHOTO2=1 which I obviously
don't. Could you check on your device.

It might be a bug in libgphoto2 udev rules which aren't adding the
correct properties.

Cheers,
