that's not from python-gobject but from gir1.0-glib-2.0 I think. Do you have
that package installed? If not, does installing it solve the issue?

Ah, thats might interesting and helpful! I did not have it installed, but now I
do. Now my "exaile" is working again :-) , and reportbug doesn't print as many
error messages on startup. Now it is only:
** Message: pygobject_register_sinkfunc is deprecated (GtkWindow)
** Message: pygobject_register_sinkfunc is deprecated (GtkInvisible)
** Message: pygobject_register_sinkfunc is deprecated (GtkObject)
which I will live with without reporting it since it will probably be fixed some
time later.
Should I just close this report, or should some package depend on the
gir1.2-glib package?
