This bug has existed for over three years and, in my opinion as upstream maintainer of the Purple Plugin Pack, was incorrectly assigned to the purple-plugin-pack source package. We, as upstream, have never been able to reproduce this bug, despite numerous attempts. Additionally, the backtrace supplied by the submitter does not include our code at all--it includes only Pidgin, GTK+, glib, and libc. I don't see how this can possibly be our code at fault.
